Egy újabb kiegészítő áll csatasorba a retro játékosok szolgálatában, az ED64Plus kiválóan teljesít a lementett ROM file-ok lejátszásában, azonban van egy funkciója ami kiemeli ez eddigi megoldások közül. A kártya nem csak lejátszani, hanem lementeni is tudja a valós Nintendo 64 játékokat az SD kártyára. Ennek gyakorlati haszna nyilván akkor van ha olyan játék kerül a kezünkbe, ami még nincs meg ROM-ban, azonban ne felejtsük el a mentéseket, bizony ezeket is lementi a kütyü, így viszont már nagyon büfé a dolog.
