Space Quest II by Sierra-on-line Game: Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge Last updated: 28/1/2000 Version: 1.0 Author: Tom Hayes E-mail: marblestone007@yahoo.com VERSION 1.0 First version, so everything is nice and new! CONTENTS I - Introduction II - Who made Space Quest? III - The Guide to Space Quest II IV - Point listings V - Cheats VI - Easter eggs VII - Conclusion I. Introduction So, what has happened since the last Space Quest? Well, not much actually. Basically, in the first game, the main baddie was Sludge Vohaul (although you didn't see him in the game). What he was planning to do was to kill every one on Xenon (Roger's home planet). However, Roger defeated Sludge's evil plans, and naturally, Sludge was not pleased. This time around, Sludge intends to dump thousands of insurance salesman on the planet of Xenon, and naturally, he must be stopped. But what has changed from the last game? Well, not much. The graphics have been changed a bit, and the difficulty is way harder than last time. There's also more than one way to complete the game, and it's MUCH harder to get maximum points in this game! But is it a better game than Space Quest I? Hmm... I'd say not. Space Quest I, although a smaller game, was just a bit better than Space Quest II. It just had more replay value and things to try. Space Quest II is still a great game though, and I'd advise anyone who likes adventure games to give it a go. II. Who made Space Quest? Space Quest II was made by Sierra-on-line in 1988, who also made the Kings Quest, Police Quest, Quest for Glory and Gabriel Knight series. III. The guide Although this guide is written to show you how to get maximum points, it doesn't show you all the places and things to do in the game. Try exploring around a bit to see some interesting things. Easter Eggs Easter eggs are special hidden things that are put in a game by the programmers just for fun. Easter eggs don't actually do much, they just provide you with fun things to try. Try some of these easter eggs: 1. At any place in the game, type "cheat" and you will instantly win the game with 255/250 points! VII. Conclusion Well, here I am at the end of another FAQ. Ahh, I like adventure games soooo much! I could write an FAQ on a new game, but old adventure games are so fun. Space Quest III looks good to write an FAQ on... but then again, so does Spyro the dragon 2... hmm... Spyro the dragon 2 or Space Quest III... I'll have to think about it. If you have any questions, comments, easter eggs, bugs, glitches, cheats, tips or anything on Space Quest I, Space Quest II or Space Quest III, please e-mail me at marblestone007@yahoo.com so I can put them in the next version of this FAQ.
